The Amsterdam Centre organises interactive activities (such as seminars, workshops, panels) and publishes a book series in collaboration with Amsterdam University Press. Advancing interdisciplinary studies in early modernity, the Amsterdam Centre offers its members and friends a platform and stimulates contacts between scholars in- and outside the University of Amsterdam.
Co-directors of the Amsterdam Centre are prof. dr. Feike Dietz (professor in Dutch literature) and dr. Djoeke van Netten (associate professor in early modern history). In this role they collaborate with dr. Rozemarijn Landsman (lecturer in Art History and co-coordinator of the Art and Media major in Global Arts, Culture and Politics), Anna-Rose Shack (PhD candidate in early modern English literature), and Joost Oosterhuis (research Master's student in early modern history).
